Corner to Corner Crochet Coaster

Created for a workshop to grasp the basics of corner to corner crochet this coaster will measure approximately 12 cm / 5 inches across. With photograph and written tutorial the pattern gives details on how to change colour, turn the corners and decrease and to read the chart to place the colours of the heart. A perfect introduction to how to do this fantastic technique that is perfect for blankets and cushions.

Difficulty

You will work US double / UK treble crochet following a chart and/or written instructions.

Yarn and Notions

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply), 10g / 30 meters of each colour

3mm crochet hook

Needle for sewing up

Tension

9 corner to corner squares per row over 10 cm / 4 inch square

Measurements

The finished coaster is 13cm / 5 inches square
