Crochet Mini Hot Water Bottle Cover Pattern

There is something about a snuggle hot water bottle, how about one with a unique crochet cover to match your favourite pyjamas or duvet? This pattern will give you both UK and US terminology in two separate files (just check which one you are using to ensure it works out as shown). Covering a 500ml hot water bottle this is perfect for a gift or as a present to yourself.

Difficulty

Working in UK or US terminology you will need to be able to chain, double crochet (single crochet), half treble (half double) and treble crochet (double) working flat and also in the round

Yarn and Notions

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply), a total of 165 meters across all colours used (see below for more information)

3.5mm crochet hook

Optional stitch marker

Needle for sewing up

500ml hot water bottle

Measurements

The cover is designed to fit a 500ml hot water bottle which is 13cm / 5 ¼ inches wide and 21cm / 8 ½ inches from top to bottom

Pattern Notes

For the cover shown I allowed for 25 meters of each of the yellow, pink, green and purple and then 65 meters for the grey.  

This pattern has been edited and tested although we are all human so please let me know if there are any issues.
