Chocolate Bar Blanket Pattern

I have made some weird and wonderful things for my local yarn shop here in Cullompton but this is one is up there. Each year Cullompton has an Autumn Festival celebrating local foods, crafts and entertainment. There is a challenge for the shops of the town to dress their windows, this year the theme was Wonka. The yarn shop is festooned with balls of yarn made to look like sweets and ever-lasting gob stoppers and it just needed the blanket too to finish it off. After posting on a Facebook group the interest in the blanket went a bit mad so here is the pattern and the chart.

Difficulty

Written in US terminology you will need to be able to chain, single crochet and double crochet

Yarn and Notions

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply) I used Stylecraft Special Double Knit in the following colours and quantities. Stylecraft comes in 100g balls with 295 meters / 323 yards in each.
